The Tertiary Cup is an exciting and highly anticipated tri-series competition that brings together tertiary school students from all over Singapore. Designed to showcase the talents and skills of young fencers, this series provides a platform for participants to compete and earn points for their respective tertiary institutions. The points gained by individuals and teams contribute towards their institution’s final points tally at the end of the 2024 season. This not only adds a competitive element to the tournaments but also fosters a sense of pride and camaraderie among the participating students. The Tertiary Cup tri-series is sanctioned by Fencing Singapore and organized by the fencing clubs of National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University.

Participants will secure points for their respective tertiary institution based on their performance in the individual and team events. Points will be awarded as follows:
- Gold = 32 points
- Silver = 26 points
- Joint Bronze = 20 points
- 5th – 8th = 14 points
- 9th – 16th = 8 points
- 17th – 32nd = 4 points
- 33rd – 64th = 2 points
- Failure to pass poules = 1 point (applicable to individual events only)
